ACHSIA is saddened to report that longtime association member Gary Stephan, of Crystal Lake, passed away on Saturday December 27, 2025 at the age of 71 from respiratory complications after battling lung cancer.

Elissa Brown Warpness, known to all as Lisa, passed away on February 18, 2025 due to complications from cancer.
Carroll Lewis Hawkins left his earthly life on February 12, 2025, in the comfort of his home in Mebane, NC, within weeks of being diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. He passed quickly, without pain, to the accompaniment of loving voices raised in song: “Here I am, Lord.”
